LDF’s Vikasana Munnetta Jatha to Begin on February 1 Across Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram: The LDF-led Vikasana Munnetta Jatha will begin on February 1, with three separate jathas covering the northern, central and southern regions of Kerala. The march aims to take the LDF government’s development initiatives and welfare measures directly to the people and to counter campaigns against the state’s development policies.

The Northern Region Jatha will start from Manjeshwaram in Kasaragod district on February 1 and conclude at Tarur in Palakkad district on February 15. CPI(M) State Secretary M. V. Govindan will lead the jatha as its captain.

The Central Region Jatha will be led by Kerala Congress (M) Chairman Jose K. Mani. It will begin from Aranmula in Pathanamthitta district on February 6 and conclude in Ernakulam on February 13.

The Southern Region Jatha will be led by CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam. It will start from Chelakkara in Thrissur district on February 4 and conclude in Thiruvananthapuram on February 14.
