Son kills father, critically injures mother

Kayamkulam: In a shocking incident in Kayamkulam, a lawyer allegedly attacked his parents, killing his father and seriously injuring his mother. Natarajan (62) of Kandukallur, South Peedikachira, succumbed to his injuries, while his wife Sindhu (49) was admitted to a private hospital in Mavelikkara in critical condition.

The assailant, their son Navjeet Natarajan, who practices law at Mavelikkara Bar, has been taken into police custody.

The incident occurred around 9:30 pm on Sunday, reportedly following a family dispute. During the attack, Natarajan struck his father multiple times on the head and injured his mother. After the assault, he went to the second floor of the house, where police managed to apprehend him. Locals rushed the injured mother to the hospital for treatment.

This case has sent shockwaves through the community, with authorities investigating the motive behind the violent attack.
