KSRTC to Launch Business Class Buses on Kochi–Thiruvananthapuram Route

Thiruvananthapuram: Minister K. B. Ganesh Kumar has brought good news for passengers of Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). The minister announced that KSRTC will soon introduce a Business Class bus service.
The Business Class buses will be equipped with pantry and toilet facilities. The service will initially operate on the Kochi – Thiruvananthapuram route, and passengers will have the option to book meals while reserving their tickets.
In addition to the driver, each bus will also have a hostess on board, similar to an air hostess on airplanes, to assist passengers during the journey.
The minister said that the first bus will start operating on the 15th of this month. He also stated that once the bus arrives, he will personally test-drive it before launching the service.
He made this announcement during the inauguration of the renovated KSRTC bus stand in Ernakulam. The minister explained that once the election code of conduct comes into force, an official inauguration cannot be held. Therefore, the announcement was made now, even before the bus arrives.
