16-Year-Old Dies After Firecracker Explodes in Hand During Vishu Celebrations in Kozhikode

Kozhikode: A 16-year-old student lost his life in a tragic firecracker accident during Vishu festivities in Koyilandy, Kozhikode. The victim, Adwaith, was fatally injured when a large firecracker exploded in his hand.

Adwaith and his friends had gathered at a ground adjacent to their home to burst crackers purchased for the Vishu celebrations. As he held a large firecracker, it exploded, causing grievous injuries. He was rushed immediately to Koyilandy Taluk Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries despite medical intervention.
