According to the IMD, these regions may experience thunderstorms accompanied by heavy rain, with rainfall ranging between 64.5 mm and 115.5 mm within 24 hours.
Strong winds are likely over the south Andaman Sea, with speeds reaching 45–55 km/h, and potentially up to 65 km/h at times. Due to rough weather conditions, fishing activities in these areas have been strictly prohibited.
The IMD also reported a possibility of isolated rainfall within the next three hours in Sannidhanam, Pampa, and Nilakkal.
