Ration Distribution Disrupted Across Keralam Due to E-POS Server Failure

Thiruvananthapuram: Ration distribution has been disrupted across the state due to a technical failure in the E-POS servers.

The machines stopped functioning from Thursday morning, leaving people who arrived at ration shops struggling to collect their supplies.

Ration dealers realised there was a technical issue when they opened their shops and switched on the E-POS machines for distribution. They were unable to log into the distribution system using their fingerprints, and even manual distribution of foodgrains to cardholders was not possible.

Authorities have also not given any clear information on when the technical issue will be resolved.
