Kerala Wins Award for AI-Based Samagra Plus Learning Platform by KITE

Kerala has received national recognition in the field of education. At the 19th Digital Transformation Conclave held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the state’s public education department’s technology arm—Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE)—won the 'Education Technology Transformation Award'. The award was given for KITE’s AI-based learning platform Samagra Plus AI, developed for schools in Kerala. The organizers informed KITE CEO K. Anvar Sadath about the award during the ceremony held in Bhubaneswar on December 5.

Samagra Plus is an AI-driven platform that helps tailor learning to suit the individual learning levels of each student. The platform includes modules such as a chatbot system, quizzes, various English language–related games, a speech assistant, and assessment tools. KITE developed the Samagra Plus AI platform entirely within the curricular framework, ensuring that its AI algorithms operate without bias concerns.
