Kerala CM to Inaugurate NORKA Care Tomorrow for Non-Resident Keralites

Thiruvananthapuram: The state government’s comprehensive health and accident insurance scheme for Non-Resident Keralites, NORKA Care, will be inaugurated tomorrow by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The scheme’s global registration drive, NORKA Care Global, will officially commence from September 22 and continue until October 22. The NORKA Care mobile app will also be launched during the event.
NORKA Care ensures cashless treatment for Non- Resident Keralites through over 16,000 hospitals across India, including more than 500 in Kerala. One of the long-standing demands of Non -Resident Keralites has been access to comprehensive health and accident insurance, and NORKA Care is designed to address this need.
Under the scheme, Non- Resident Keralites will receive health insurance coverage of up to five lakh rupees and accident insurance coverage of up to ten lakh rupees. The coverage will become effective from November 1, Kerala Piravi Day. Non- Resident Keralites with a valid NORKA PRAVASI ID, Student ID, or NRK ID card are eligible to enroll.
