Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan Extends Birthday Wishes to Actor Kamal Haasan

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday extended birthday greetings to South Indian film star Kamal Haasan, who turned 71.

The chief minister conveyed his wishes through a post on his official Facebook page. “Birthday greetings to my dear friend and one of the greatest legends of Indian cinema, Kamal Haasan,” Pinarayi Vijayan wrote.

He highlighted that Haasan’s artistic journey truly reflects the spirit of a multifaceted genius. Apart from his exceptional acting skills, the actor has made a significant contribution in every aspect of filmmaking.

Pinarayi Vijayan also noted that Kamal Haasan’s affection for Kerala and the Malayali people is widely known. The chief minister further described Kamal Haasan as an advocate of secular ideals and a consistent voice for progressive and democratic values, inspiring people across generations.
