4-Year-Old Dies of Cobra Bite in Kasaragod

Kasaragod: A four-year-old girl died from a cobra bite while undergoing treatment after being struck in her house's courtyard in Kasaragod's Bheemanady. Ritu Chandra, daughter of Sharath Chandran and Ajitha from Elerithattu Thotti Unnati, passed away at a private hospital in Kannur.

On Monday afternoon around 1 PM, Ritu was playing with other children in a neighbor's courtyard when her ball rolled away. As she reached for it amid piled wood scraps, the hidden cobra struck. Despite prompt medical attention, she could not be saved.
