Kamal Haasan Expressed Grattitude to Aalin Abraham's Parents for Life-Saving Organ Donation

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor and political leader Kamal Haasan extended his heartfelt grattitude to Aalin Abraham's parents, who gave new life to five people through organ donation. He wrote, "Aalin Sherin Abraham lived for months within her mother and, for ten months, was embraced by her parents’ boundless love. Now, she will help five other babies live better lives. By mindset and heart, you are — and will always remain — loving parents. Please retrieve your happiness through life. You both truly deserve it."

Aalin was declared brain-dead on Thursday, and her parents made the courageous decision to donate her organs. In a heartening act of altruism, they agreed to donate Aalin’s liver, two kidneys, a heart valve, and other organs, providing a new lease on life to five individuals. Aalin’s organ donation set a new milestone as she became the youngest organ donor in Kerala’s history.

Six-month-old baby Dhriya received Aalin’s liver and underwent a successful surgery, becoming the youngest recipient of Aalin’s liver.

Aalin, along with her mother Sherin Ann John and other travelers, was traveling in a car that met with an accident on the 5th at MC Road, near Pallam Borma Junction. Aalin’s mother, Sherin, who was injured in the accident, has been admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvalla for treatment
