Kalpathy Ratholsavam to Be Held From November 7 to 17

Palakkad: The Kalpathy Ratholsavam will be held from November 7 to 17. The first meeting of representatives of the four temples in Kalpathy in connection with the festival was held on Saturday.

The Ratholsavam will be ceremonially inaugurated at all four temples on the morning of November 8. Arrangements will be made to ensure that the public can witness the 'Pallakku-Ratha Sangamam' ceremony scheduled for midnight on November 12, the fifth day of the festival.

The village procession of the six chariots will be held on November 14, 15 and 16. The Ratha Sangamam will take place on the evening of November 16. The festival will conclude with the Aarattu and flag-lowering ceremony on November 17.
