Director K. Madhu Resigns as KSFDC Chairman

Thiruvananthapuram: K. Madhu was appointed to the position by the LDF government following the demise of renowned filmmaker Shaji N. Karun, who previously served as chairman. Before assuming the chairmanship, K. Madhu had been a member of the KSFDC Board of Directors during Shaji N. Karun's tenure.
K. Madhu made his directorial debut with the 1986 Malayalam film Malarum Kiliyum. Over a film career spanning more than three decades, he directed over 30 films and worked across Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada cinema industries.
He is best known for directing the highly successful CBI film series starring Mammootty. The franchise remains one of the most popular investigative thriller series in Malayalam cinema.
His most recent theatrical release was CBI 5: The Brain, the fifth installment in the CBI series.
