Home Voting Begins Today

Thiruvananthapuram: The "Home Voting" for those above 85 years of age and those with more than 40% disability in the state will begin today (Monday) and continue until April 4th. Only those who have submitted prior applications through BLMs (Booth Level Officers) will be eligible to vote. This will be conducted with the assistance of mobile polling teams. The polling team will consist of the polling officer, two assistants, a micro-observer, a videographer, and police officer.

The polling team will inform the voter in advance about the date and time they will arrive at the home. If the voter is not available at the first visit, the date and time for a second visit will be decided. The list of eligible voters for home voting in each constituency will be provided to political parties and candidates.
