Heavy Rain Likely in the State Till Thursday; Yellow Alert in Various Districts

Thiruvananthapuram: Isolated rains with thunderstorms are likely in the state until Thursday. The Central Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in various districts, as there is a possibility of heavy rain today and tomorrow.

Today, a yellow alert is in effect for Kozhikode and Malappuram. On March 31, a yellow alert will be in place for Kasargod, Kannur, and Kozhikode districts. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that rainfall of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm may occur within 24 hours.

Additionally, strong winds with speeds ranging from 40 to 50 km/h are expected in the state today and tomorrow. The Central Meteorological Department has also stated that rain with thunderstorms is likely from April 1 to 3.
