Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is moving towards another historic verdict, and the LDF government will come to power for the third time, said CPI(M) State Secretary M.V. Govindan. He added that the UDF and BJP, which are moving forward with an anti-development stance, will face a heavy backlash from the people. This time, the LDF aims to secure over 110 seats, he clarified.

In the backdrop of A.K. Gopalan's memories inspiring the spirit of struggle, LDF candidates have submitted nomination papers in all 140 constituencies. They are actively engaged in the campaign. The formation of the second Pinarayi government in 2021 marked a new chapter in history. As a continuation of that history, the LDF is now on its journey towards a third term.

The UDF is adopting an approach that completely rejects the developmental activities of the state. The fact that they have failed to play any role in Kerala's growth over the past 10 years is their biggest setback. The UDF and BJP have a stance that opposes everything and turns their back on progress. It is also noteworthy that the UDF is not ready to resist the economic attacks being carried out by the central government on Kerala.

The LDF government is completing its tenth year by bringing together crores of people to create Nava Kerala, addressing their basic problems, and providing infrastructure facilities. These achievements are the LDF's strongest weapon. While the UDF moves forward with majority-minority communalism, the people will stand with the side of development, said M.V. Govindan.

He ridiculed V.D. Satheeshan's allegation that there is a BJP-CPI(M) deal in Palakkad, calling it a lie and joking that Satheeshan should be given a Nobel Prize for lying. M.V. Govindan added that such fake propaganda should not be believed.
