DYFI Youth Brigade Distributes Food to Rescue Workers at Thrissur Fireworks Disaster Site

Thrissur: The DYFI Youth Brigade has been providing food and refreshments to the hundreds of rescue workers, officials, and volunteers working through the night at the Mundathikode fireworks disaster site in Thrissur since Tuesday evening.

Hospital staff, officials from various government departments, police and fire force personnel, volunteers, and media workers — all of whom have been on continuous duty for hours — were served packed meals, watermelon, and drinking water at the site.

The relief effort was led by DYFI District Secretary K.S. Rosal Raj, District Treasurer K.S. Senthil Kumar, District Vice President C.R. Karthika, Secretariat members K.S. Sreeraj and K.A. Saifudheen, Vadakkanchery Block Secretary E.R. Rahul, and Block President K.R. Prashanth.
