Brinda Karat: LDF Government Built Township in Wayanad, UDF Doesn’t Even Have an Account of Collected Funds

Thiruvananthapuram: In Kerala, under the LDF government, there has been unparalleled development, says CPI(M) senior leader Brinda Karat. Despite the continued neglect from the central government, a township was built for Wayanad, and Brinda points out that the UDF is unaware of the funds they had previously squandered. She questions where the Congress's announced plans have been implemented, she says.

Where have all their declared promises been implemented? A Congress leader from Haryana took money and joined the BJP. How can people trust Congress, Brinda asks. The central government is pushing their agenda in all states, but it is only in Kerala that it has been possible to implement these changes due to the strong presence of the Left. Even laws are bulldozed and implemented. Minorities are becoming victims of atrocities.

The employment guarantee scheme has been eliminated, and Modi has said nothing about the FCRA bill. He only stands for three things: Adani, Ambani, and America. Even the central budgets are being presented for the benefit of corporations. Brinda questions why Modi is raising the idea of a developed Kerala.
