AIDWA Kerala State Conference Kicks Off Today

Thiruvananthapuram: The 14th State Conference of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) is set to begin on Wednesday. The delegate session will be held at Jameela Nagar (AKG Hall) in Kani, starting at 10 am on Tuesday, and will be inaugurated by All India Secretary Mariam Dhawale. The session will be presided over by State President Susan Kodi. All India Secretary P K Sreemathi will present the organisational report, while State Secretary C S Sujatha will share the association’s activity report.

Key speakers at the conference include All India Vice President U Vasuki, CITU General Secretary Elamaram Kareem, Karshaka Sangham State Secretary Valsan Panoli, Karshaka Thozhilali Union State Secretary N Chandran, DYFI State Secretary V K Sanoj, and SFI State Secretary P S Sanjeev.

Around 700 women delegates are expected to participate, representing over six million members of the association across Kerala. The sessions will review the association’s activities over the past three years, assess areas for improvement, and discuss strategies to further strengthen the organisation. Discussions and presentation of proposals will take place on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday, with elections for new office bearers scheduled for Thursday.
