US Continues Strikes on Iran, Trump Warns of Stronger Attacks if Tehran Retaliates

Tehran: The US continued its attacks on Iran on Tuesday, launching missiles at areas in and around the country's port cities. The US Central Command said the strikes targeted facilities of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). US President Donald Trump also warned that Iran would face even more powerful attacks if it retaliated.

Explosions were reported in areas including Bandar Abbas, Sirik and Konarak. Four missiles reportedly struck Chabahar and Konarak.

Following the attacks, the US issued a warning to its citizens in West Asia. International media reports indicated that Iran could launch a retaliatory response soon.

The latest strikes came a day after a US air attack on Larak Island, near the Strait of Hormuz, killed three people, including a soldier, and injured two others. Iran subsequently launched retaliatory attacks targeting US military bases in the UAE and Jordan. Iranian drones approaching the Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE were shot down.

The renewed US strikes came amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran following Iran's retaliatory action.
