Ukraine Drone Attack on Moscow Kills 2, Injures 6

Moscow: Two people were killed and around six others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack in Moscow, Russia. Russia said it had shot down around 1,600 Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow. Several buildings were also damaged in the attack.

A fire broke out after a drone fell on the roof of a 21-storey apartment building in Ramenskoye, prompting the evacuation of around 400 people. Twenty vehicles were also damaged.

A drone also crashed into a three-storey apartment building in Sofino, killing one person and injuring five others. A warehouse and an oil refinery in Moscow were also damaged in the attack.

Restrictions were imposed on flight operations at two airports following the attack. Visuals of explosions in the night sky over the Moscow region have also been circulating on social media.
