Trump’s New AI Campaign Against Iran: US President Superimposes His Face on Iran’s Map

Washington: US President Donald Trump shared a picture on social media showing his own face superimposed on a map of Iran. Along with the image, he also posted an AI-generated picture depicting Iran’s Kharg Island, a key oil export hub, being bombed, with the caption, “Bye Bye Kharg.”

Trump claimed that Iran’s oil exports had declined sharply due to US sanctions and that the country was facing severe inflation following the collapse in the value of the rial. He also claimed that oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s key oil routes, were returning to normal.

Iran, which has maintained its influence over the Strait of Hormuz while resisting US sanctions, responded strongly to Trump’s social media campaign. Iran warned that any further US attack would draw a strong retaliation.

“The era of proportional responses is over,” Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said. “Any attack against Iran’s security or interests will be met with a swift and strong response,” he said.
