Thailand School Shooting: Four Killed, 15 Injured After Student Opens Fire

Bangkok: At least four people, including teachers and students, were killed after a student opened fire at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Thailand’s Nonthaburi province on Friday, officials said.
The incident occurred in Bang Kruai district, north of Bangkok. The education minister, Prasert Jantararuangtong, confirmed the deaths but did not clarify whether the reported total included the suspected gunman.
At least 15 people were injured, according to government officials and local media reports. Emergency crews and police were sent to the school, while students took shelter in classrooms as gunfire was heard from another building.
Images from the scene, provided by international media outlets, showed ambulances, emergency responders and groups of students and adults gathered outside the school.
Debsirin Nonthaburi is part of a network of secondary schools established by Thailand’s royal family. District authorities said the school had about 3,100 students and 147 teachers during the 2025 academic year
