London: The Indian Workers Association and Students' Federation of India – United Kingdom (SFI–UK) are preparing to hold discussions with Members of the UK Parliament regarding immigration policies.
The discussion is scheduled to take place in the UK Parliament on June 15, from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM UK time.
According to SFI–UK, the meeting has been organised in response to concerns that current immigration policies are affecting migrants, including international students. The main objective is to raise these issues through UK representatives and bring them to the attention of the government.
SFI–UK stated that it is advocating for immigration policies that are fair, humane, and effective, while expressing solidarity with migrant communities, including healthcare workers and students.
