Beirut: The Israeli military, which continues its heavy strikes on Lebanon, has destroyed a strategic bridge across the Litani River. The bridge, connecting the towns of Zrariyeh and Tayr Falsay, was destroyed in an Israeli missile attack. Israel claimed that the move was intended to prevent Hezbollah fighters from reaching southern Lebanon.

The Israeli military has also ordered those living north of the Litani River, within 20 km of the border, to evacuate immediately. This has displaced thousands of people. International observers have described the action as a blatant attack on civilian infrastructure in Lebanon. Israeli drones have also targeted residential areas in northern Beirut.
