Iran Attack: Tamil Nadu Native Killed in Kuwait

Kuwait: The Indian Embassy has confirmed that one Indian citizen was killed in an attack on the Shuaiba power and water desalination plant in Iran. The deceased, Santana Selvam, a 40-year-old contract worker from Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, was attacked while on shift Sunday night. The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy officially announced the incident.

With this attack, the number of Indian citizens killed in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East has risen to eight. Kuwait, which has thus far maintained a neutral stance in the regional conflict, has not been subjected to any significant attacks.
