Gaza City: Despite the ceasefire, Israel has continued military operations in Gaza. On February 10, multiple airstrikes in various parts of Gaza City resulted in numerous Palestinian killings.

Authorities at Shifa Hospital reported that those killed included women and children. In the past 24 hours, reports indicate that more than five people have lost their lives.

Israeli warplanes targeted residential areas in the western part of Gaza City. Most of the casualties were civilians. Witnesses stated that the attacks struck people while they were sleeping at night.

Among the bodies brought to Shifa Hospital were three children. The Israeli army claimed its soldiers faced gunfire in southern Gaza and that the airstrikes were retaliatory.

However, international media reports indicate that civilian homes were destroyed during the attacks. Thus, the ceasefire agreement signed in October appears to be collapsing. Since October 10, 580 people have reportedly killed in Israeli attacks.

Israel has also imposed severe restrictions in the Rafah territory, where patients are typically transferred to Egypt, further straining Gaza’s healthcare system.

Since the conflict began, nearly 72,000 people have been killed in the Israel-Palestine war. Israel continues military operations despite international protests.
