Deshabhimani Online Wins Award for Best IFFK Coverage

Thiruvananthapuram: Deshabhimani Online has won the award for Best Coverage at the 30th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK). The award was presented to Deshabhimani staff by Cultural Minister Saji Cheriyan and includes a cash prize of ten thousand rupees, along with a citation and plaque.
Deshabhimani Online provided comprehensive reporting of the seven -day film festival in the state capital, which offered a visually stunning experience. In addition to news articles, the coverage included notable videos and interviews. Asianet Online received a special mention in the online category.
The award for Best Print Media went to The New Indian Express. Aravind S Shashi of Kalakaumudi was named Best Reporter, while Aparna Nair of The New Indian Express received a special mention. K B Jayachandran of Metro Vartha was awarded Best Photographer. In the visual media category, Doordarshan received the award. Meghna Murali of 24 News was named Best Reporter, and Rahul G. Nathan of Mathrubhumi earned a special mention.
