Hyderabad: Fahadh Faasil’s much-awaited Telugu fantasy film Don’t Trouble the Trouble will now arrive in theatres on October 2, with the makers pushing the release from its earlier date of September 11.
Directed by Shashank Yeleti and presented by SS Rajamouli, the film marks Fahadh’s first Telugu movie in a leading role. The project is backed by SS Karthikeya, Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni.
The film has already generated interest with its teaser, which introduces Fahadh as Suri, a magician who develops a friendship with a young girl played by Ssara Palekar.
Saurabh Sachdeva is also part of the cast. Kaala Bhairava has composed the music, while Brad Francis ACS serves as the cinematographer and Praveen Anthony is handling the editing. The film is being prepared for release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
The first song from Don’t Trouble the Trouble was unveiled earlier in August, following the teaser released in July.
For Fahadh, the film represents another significant step in his expanding presence beyond Malayalam cinema. The actor has increasingly taken on projects across multiple Indian industries, with his performances in films such as Pushpa, Vikram and Aavesham helping strengthen his visibility among audiences outside Keralam.
The fantasy entertainer is expected to showcase Fahadh in a markedly different setting from several of his recent roles, with magic and supernatural elements forming a central part of the story.
With the new October 2 release date, Don’t Trouble the Trouble will now have additional time for its promotional campaign ahead of its theatrical debut.
