Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Crosses Rs 300 Crore at Box Office

Kochi: Nivin Pauly-starrer Bethlehem Kudumba Unit continues its strong run at the box office, with the film's worldwide gross crossing the Rs 300-crore mark. The Girish AD directorial has now surpassed the box-office record of Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra.

Actor and producer Fahadh Faasil thanked audiences and the film's cast and crew for embracing Bethlehem Kudumba Unit.

The film was produced under the banner of Bhavana Studios by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran. Besides Keralam, the film has been performing strongly in its Tamil and Telugu versions as well as in other Indian states and overseas markets.

Directed by Girish AD, the film stars Nivin Pauly as ‘Justin’ and Mamitha Baiju as ‘Ashley’ in the lead roles. The chemistry between the two characters has emerged as one of the film's major attractions. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has also become the biggest hit of Nivin Pauly's career.

The film has surpassed the reported Rs 302-crore worldwide collection of Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra, directed by Dominic Arun, to become the biggest box-office success in Malayalam cinema.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit's success comes after major Malayalam blockbusters such as Manjummel Boys, Empuraan and Lokah: Chapter One – Chandra delivered strong performances at the box office.
